Glanza V Rhd To Lhd

Recommended Posts

hello, my name is Ione and I live in Canary Islands, Spain. I had 4 Toyota Starlet 1.3 12v and I am a fan of toyota. I would like to bring a toyota glanza V of Britain but would like to change direction from right to left. UK specialist would know some do it? please I am very interested in this and it is a dream for me. Thank you very much and I await your response.

Wouldn't it be easier to take a LHD Starlet as a base and work from there. Engine swap, custom loom, uprated brakes?

Also it's not that bad to drive a RHD car in a LHD country (I do it too and there are tons of people here in the Netherlands who drive RHD Jap cars on a daily basis).

I suppose it would be easier but it takes time behind that car. You've seen in forums that some people have changed over the left-hand drive and I simply want to know which are the fundamental changes that it must be.

Because here is marketed Toyota Starlet 1.3 s and I have the dashboard and other pieces. Thank you very much for your reply friend! greetings

Even the engine..

And i must say It's the same as a normal car..

Have a lot work on the car but i like it

I have the dashboard of a turbo EP91 but not the steering wheel left and thought buying a glanza and change all the instruments, steering rack, windscreen wipers and headlights ... not whether we should change something else. know where I can report that would have to change beyond that? some specialized workshop?

I don't think there are any specialist for that..

And the Interior you can't change over..

But you want to have a LHD Glanza right ?

Some parts of a Glanza don't fit like the interior the plastic dash don't fit..

Speedo and meters does fit..

You have to look up what do and don't fit mate..

I self have only the Speedo and meters fitted and the seats in the interior..

Greetings,

Jeroen

I want to change the position of the steering wheel right to left. you say that does not fit the dashboard of a EP91? seems to be the same the only thing that is not turbo! I saw on the forum also one who has not already, especially in Greece and the Netherlands. you do not know any that are sold and the steering wheel to the left? thanks!

You want to buy a Glanza and you want you stuff from a EP91 LHD set it in de Glanza ?

The holes for the steering rack are not there yet a think..

But the Dash of a EP91 LHD must fit a Glanza.. but the steering rack i don't know..

I have a Ep91 LHD and the owner before me set the 4EFTE engine in it..

Only problem is electric the wiring of the engine..

I think easyer then steering rack change..

Exactly, I have been reporting with a team that has done Many times, in Paraguay and have told me to look for the zipper of a LHD and that there is no problem.

Then you have to modify all ventilation ducts and lengthen the wiring board.

You have a LHD? do not have to sell?
