Mo3
no i wish but gonna happen in 2 years time just wondering wat i wud have 2 do..im going to get the starlet gt engine (4efte) and smack it in you can pick up the front half of the car for around $2000 from this JDM place close to me so i think the front brakes of the GT i can put on the paseo..i think that would cost close to $600 and im not sure if i have to change the CV joints..also with the 4efte engine it comes with a topmount intercooler want to change that to a front mount..and in order to do that i think i would need a front body kit so it can fit..i think that is all id have to do im not sure please add things to the list
Steve GT
hasnt anyone on here got a 4efte paseo you can talk to?
riko666
- you'll need to splice the wiring loom with the Paseos' one- front brakes are the same as the GT's- if you re-use your gearbox you won't need to swap driveshafts, use the GT's one and you "may" do- don't need a new front bumper if you shop properly for an intercooler
Mo3
so transmission the same ? and new clutch
riko666
No, but it can be used - the Starlet gearbox is far lower geared, and if yours is a C15X gearbox, has thicker gears too. You'll need the 4E-FTE clutch/flywheel

riko666
well if you're getting a front cut then yeah, you just need the engine, loom, ecu, a handy auto electrician, someone to put it into the Paseo, done
