andieep82 Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 hi have recently had my engine forged and now when i start the vechile it idles high at around 1500 and stays like that for around 5 mins, could this be due to the automatic choke sensor?? need some advice cheers Quote

Asad Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 Its the coolant temp sensor telling the rest of the electronic stuff that the cars cold and it needs to warm up....i.e idle high get the oil/water warmed for better fuel effeciency reduced engine wearby no means is it a bad thing totally normal :harhar: Quote
