Turbo Timer Trouble

hey i was just wondering if someone can tell me were this thin black wire goes thanks.

could possible be earth but i no on mine theres 2 that go to the hand brake and joins in to the hand brake sensor to keep the power on the timer once key is taken out then the timer acts as a switch once counted down but on mine the black was earth but it had a little horse shoe clip onit to put it to earth

so if i put it as an earth it should be ok ?

It's just earth, that grey wire is most likely for the handbrake (usually grey). Just put the earth somewhere on metal, I put it underneath a screw with one of those clip things (don't know the name in English).
