Removing Window Wipers...

Hi,

Basically ive got abit of paint coming of my window wipers and half of the wiper is showing the bair metal lol, Ive tryed to take them off so i can spray them and had no luck Ive took the little cap thing off of them and undid that nut but nothing was actually happening. Tbh I dont really want to spray them still on the car dont want to risk it lol

Anyone know how to take them off please?

use a bit of force and some wd40 they are on a spline so pull on them and wiggle em about a bit, they come off eventually mate

i found the front ones came off handy enough..

still haven't managed to remove the rear one!

Do you have to actually un-screw the wiper off? It looks like youve actually got to unscrew it the way its actually on So just use some more wd40 and pull and wiggle haha

Take the bolt off completely, the spray with WD40, let it soak..Then pull outwards while wiggling left to right and it should come off.

To put them back on, line it up with the hole, but it into the position you want it on the windscreen, then start screwing the bolt back on and it pushes the wiper back on. You CAN'T push the wiper on, you gotta use the bolt to exert the force
