shanksportif
Hey, I fitted a corolla inlet manifold the other week and now my car seems to 'bunny hop' a lot if I don't have my foot on the accelerator. I don't know what it could be really but it makes it a nightmare in traffic!!Also I fitted a lower strut brace at the same time - but took it off two days later because it touched the exhaust piping and made a massive racket. Now it is off I still hear the same kind of rattling but on a smaller scale?
whitestarlet
have you got the vacuum pipes on? there could be a slight crack in one of the pipes. i left one off and it sounds like the problem i had.
shanksportif
Hmm they the rubber tubes that attatch to it? What was your problem exactly? I'll check tomorrow. Does anyone know how many of these pipes are supposed to connect to the mani? Cheers
whitestarlet
the engine was hunting. i.e. going from ticking over speed to near stall then back to tick over again i think there are 2 going to the manifold one goies from the rocker cover and the other i think goes to the vacuum for the brakes. there is another that runs to the intake pipe from the rocker cover. hope that helps a bit
