ToyotaTech15
What sort of power are you aiming for? What turbo are you running? And does that kit give you a choice of head gasket size as it doesn't make it clear there. Are you using a machine shop for the boring of the block I take it? They will be good to ask about comp ratios.Imo. People don't think enough about compression ratios and just bang any headgasket on or the same on as someone else has, every engine build like this is expensive and varies in different ways, so taking the time the to work out compression ratios can make all the difference to your final output/figures.Depending on what power you would like. If you choose a thin headgasket there is only so far the car can be mapped before the likes of ignition timing can't be retarded anymore. Then if it's to big it will take longer to spool up.I would speak to the machine shop as they can do volume check/dummy builds to work out the perfect comp ratio and head gasket size for your application to get the best performance .Hope this helpsGary
