joel_ep91 Posted July 29, 2010 Share Posted July 29, 2010 ok well when i took apart my bro gt pistons and rods it was just a circlip and out came the pin but on my 4efe pisstons there isnt any circlips so im guessing i have to press them out is that correct? if so how do i do that without breaking the piston ? need to know asap as i need to get my pistons on my scat rods to get my crank race balancedthanks in advancejoel Quote Link to post Share on other sites
GTnomez Posted July 29, 2010 Share Posted July 29, 2010 There should be two small circlips next to the gudgeon pin, one on each side. If there isnt then you will have to press them out professionally! They will have to be heated up to be knocked out as they are not a 'floating' type piston Quote Link to post Share on other sites
