Idrees
Thats ace man!!!But how come it only produces 118bhp first? Thats less for a GT right?Awww...unless he had the Turbo on low mode on the first roll, and flicked it on Hi on the second roll..But thats silly, the turbo won't produce from 115bhp (Standard on low mode) to 186bhpSo the vid must be the truth
Sparky
133hp is the fly wheel figure Idreesthe figure shown is the wheel horsepower which is the power going thru the wheels as you loose a little bit of hp through the transmission so its probably about rightThere you go, learn something new everyday not sure what you mean by here though"But thats silly, the turbo won't produce from 115bhp (Standard on low mode) to 186bhpSo the vid must be the truth"

When its on low, its 115bhp (ive heard) so i thought they must have done a bit of a cheat by putting it on low mode for the first roll and on hi mode for the second roll. Idrees
hahahahwell what i meant was...on the first r/r the guy might have put the turbo on low mode to produce less bhpand on the second r/r he could have flicked the turbo to hi mode to produce more bhpthen i realised that high and low boost doesnt have so much difference (118bhp - 186bhp)understand now? if not..just ermmm.....forget it!!! lobotomy
Nah im pretty sure every hp figure goes by the fly because its a higher figure which would interest more peopleThe reason manufacturers quote Flywheel horsepower figures is because they dyno the engine before it's put into the car -- ie at the Fly!! The power figures you get from rolling roads are taken at the wheels -- ie WHP, then on the run down they RR can work out how much power is being lost through the transmission from which you get a Fly HP figure.
