  1. I thought your sig was new Stevie... Is this "swannies" old supercharged Celica? When he had it it was only putting out 180'ish bhp I'm sure... I've always liked the car tho, sounds crazy! My vote goes to CE28N's
  2. I don't know if you noticed mate but all those wheels were 5 stud on that vivd racing site and priced per wheel so a full set would cost ~$2200USD (~£1100) then add your import duty and shipping!! Expensive!! Also the black Glanza in that advert is an auto if I remember from the original WRC advert -- Something he fails to mention I noticed
  3. ^^ Exactly what I used to have to do. Just ramp it up a few inches then run the trolley jack under the car. Maybe you'll need something else if your car is that low tho.
  4. Might be H5N1... 'tis the season and all!
  5. It'll be this one then: I think he liked to give it a fair run about town, but then I gave mine some stick too on the odd occasion.
  6. Ah right enough! It is that one! With the big 17" white multispokes, thought I recognised the plate. That'll be why it's so cheap then because he's been trying to sell it since last may when I sold my Glanza? (unless it's changed hands between then) Cheers for the input Stevie.
  7. I'm 15min away from Ayr... Stay in Glasgow though (45min away), just home for Christmas. Hopefully Stevie will see this thread soon and let you know if he knows any more about the car. Have you had any more contact with the guy to answer any questions, or any more pics?
  8. Hi mate I had this problem when I had the car -- Pull out the hazard button from the dash and make sure the connections are on properly. My car started fine though so maybe it's unrelated? I just lost the use of all 3 buttons and indicators. That's why I automatically checked the contacts there. Hope that helps mate.
  9. It's 100% your thermostat Scutch... had the same problem with my Glanza, changed it for just a blueprint style one out of the motorfactors and it never budged from halfway the rest of the time I had the car.
  10. That car is local to me... came out of the same import garage as mine. I may be wrong, but this might be it when it was in the garage? They also had another white one at the time without the "ducktail" spoiler and a Varis top spoiler so it might be that one too! StevieB on this forum might be able to tell you more about the local Glanza's tho since I moved away from home recently, maybe tell you if he see's it being thrashed or anything. The advert seems to be pretty poor tho, and for the age of the car it does seem quite cheap, maybe he doesn't know it's value tho? Might just be a ba
  11. Sounds like a frozen handbrake/stuck caliper - Apparently the best thing for it is to rock the car back and forth a couple of times before pulling away. To prevent it don't put the handbrake on straight away after braking, let the brakes cool down first, especially if you've been riding them.
  12. The project looks great mate... can't wait to see it in action. Did you pre-blowtorch the heat wrap? My mate never and his car smelled of burning biscuits for a month (he said it smelled more like burning aspestos though)
  13. I'm a production engineer for a defence contractor, it's all confidential and secret so I can't say much about the projects I work on... but I work with Losers, sorry lasers (that's an inside joke sorry!)
  14. I did have a large vector image of it but I can't find it -- a small'ish .jpg will have to do:
  15. It's a 35litre tank. I never got much more than 250mi to a tank with my Glanza.
