NeilH
what do you lot use to lubricate your BOV? i have tried everything from wheel bearing grease to vaseline to WD40 but nothing seems to last that long. i know these things have to be cleaned and lubricated regularly but i can hear the difference after just a week!!!so what do you lot use?NeilH. ecksjay
er, lubricate the bov?if they're hosed up correctly, the gas/vapour from the crank case will lubricate them more than enough, unless they're absolutely nackered! they often spit some of this vapour out and it collects in the engine bay somewhere, but before that happens it'll oil up inside the bov and help it by lubricating it automatically.Unless its something cheap like a baileys, or just one thats old and nackered then it shouldn't need touching! My ARC bov was on for almost a year and i never had to even touch it, just adjust it to what i wanted and away you go. They are prob the best built out of all aftermarket bov's but still, i've never heard of it otherwise!
