Galliano
Ok, I didn't really know where to put this in terms of section as it falls under several topics..But how can I spray the engine bay without actually removing the engine. I'm too fond of driving now and wouldn't dream of being car-less for however long. Is it possible to remove part by part and spraying the bay? Thinking along the lines of strut towers, firewall and front panel to freshen it up. Over the years the strut towers have been chipped so they are showing a tad surface rust, but due to the fact the engine bay is non-metallic grey, I would struggle to match it well - and prefer the idea of a metallic bay to look minty fresh!Any ideas on what I can do? Maybe strip ancillaries and leave the main block in place so I can access the rest with a can of spray?Sam
Dan507
Does it need spraying or a good clean. It can be done, I've seen it be done. But it is a pain you would need to mask everything up and remove some bits and peices. It would be slot easier to remove the engine tbh. It's up to you.
Asad
Id remove it all and do it....looks untidy if you dont mask properly and if bits are missed out 1) clean what you can and live with it2) think of a better reason to remove the engine and then knock yourself out lol
