Sub in Bedroom ???

Hey hey, rite i have a JVC 800wat sub and amp etc. and i want to be able to connect it to my i-pod/cd player/laptop so i can get some proper bass in my bedroom any ideas how to wire this up as i am not great with electrics and stuff ?????

will need a transformer and a dc converter to convert 230v down to the 12v that a car amp will take, like off a car battery, and also need to convert 3 phase alternating current to direct current.

how you would do it I have no idea, but thats what you need to do.
