removing a cv joint

my partner has removed his drive shaft from his car but we cant remove the cv joint can someone tell me how to remove the cv joint please

from what i remember u take the boot off and hit the end off holding it straight i dont think it has a clip on the joint so should just hit off

theres a c clip on the driveshaft, it should come off with a good hit, make sure u dont lose the clip unless u get one with the new cv joint?

Yeah, u wont see it untill u get the cv joint off tho

u may have to ease the clip into the cv joint when nocking it back of if your changing the clip
