Fuel pressure with fuel reg

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, hope your all ok..

Need abit of help. i did abit of work to my glanza at the weekend : Fmic, decat, fuel reg, HKS actuator....

Ive set the boost to around 0.8 bar

I need to know what fuel pressure i should be running at with this boost, i have it set at 36 psi now.

And ive got a Air/fuel ratio gauge.. and the gauge is moving all over the place shouldnt it just be steady ?

And whats the highest and safest boost level i can run on standard CT9 Unit ?

Please help guys :D

leave the fuel presure around 36psi, you're are sure you have enough fuel everytime

with out fcd you be safe running 13 or 14 psi of boost on the ct9

but you can go a lil more if you have a fcd

the original map from the car can read till 1.2 bar that's 18psi

hope this help you !

Fuel pressure should be set in conjunction with a wideband reading (a local tuner will have one).

Otherwise you are either going to overfuel (lost power/increased fuel consumption) or underfuel (detonation and resulting engine damage). Do it once, do it right.

Jay

Right cheers for the heads up! how much do they normally charge fore setting up ? any ideas cheers
