do not laquer it,if you laquer it, after a fe weeks it will start to oxidise underneath the laquer and you will be back at stage 1 and you will have to polish it all over again.

if you want to seal it have a google for zoop seal it will last beetween 2 and 3 years before it goes dull and you need to repolish.
