Hi, my missus scratched her next door neighbours audi a4 car by reversing in and hes saying it has to goto audi dealership to get it repsrayed otherwise his paintwork protection will be void. Although i know a few people who work in bodyshops and can get it done cheaper then what audi will charge.

Is he true what hes saying before i ring them up tomorrow to find out?

i reckon so mate its worth asking for proof hes got paintwork protection first as audi will probs back him up, but id ask for proof hes got it first

unfortunatly as it wasnt his fault the balls kind of in his court i believe

if you dont he can just claim off your insurance which will affect your no claims and he'l probs just go to audi anyway

thats it, he wanted to go insurance but shes dont wanna lose her NCB. so hes gona go thru audi and she'll pay for the cost. just goto swallow it i guess lol.

when you say she was "reversing in" I assume you mean onto her driveway??

if so was the neighbours Audi obstructing the drive at all?

we've just moved into a house and we are constantly getting people parking partial or fully across the drive making difficult/impossible to get in or out.

If yours is the same type of thing then you should have a case.
