Boost block

First of all just wanted to say hi to everyone, as I'm new to the site, I've just brought my first starlet, a 94 gt turbo. When put my foot down and at high revs the car jults, I've been told it's boost block, it only seems to happen in the higher gears, but if I ease the boost in slowly it doesn't happen, can anyone help?

sounds like fuel cut dude, whats the spec of the car? does it have adjustable actuator, boost gauge, decat exhaust system?

jolts and feels like somethings just fallen off with a big bang? yup sounds like fuel cut need to turn the boost down or get a fuel cut defender

could be a mis fire. check your plugs and leads and dizzy cap etc

was going to say fuel cut doesnt really make the car jolt about that much. fuel cut is more like the feeling of hitting a curb just one big jolt.

as gaz said we need more details of modifications and the spec of the GT please dude

Mine had this when I first bought it, was the distributor cap.

A lot of them haven't been replace since new lol
