I've just found another car which i might be interested in buying and the seller claims in his add that the ct9 on the glanza is a hybrid. is there any way i can tell if he's speaking truth without reciepts?

Thanks, Jamie.

the easiest way to tell while its on the car is have a look at the intake hole size on the turbo, if its a hybrid it will be much bigger

not necessarily, some companies simply bore the housing out to accommodate the larger inlet blade and dont touch the outside housing atall

its going to be hard without a receipt, and without knowledge of turbo's checking the turbine blades probably wont help you much as you would have to determine the difference.

will just have to gets some receipts or find where the work was done on it and ring the place the verify... if he provides nothing then its probably not.

some people fuck there turbo get it rebuilt to OEM specifications and then presume as it got worked over that makes it 'hybrid' lol, some funny people in thw world :D

lol start with the air filter. find that then follow the pipe the air filters attached too and follow it all the way to the turbo. where the pipe joins the turbo thats where the air intake will be on the turbo
