jham Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Hello,i think i may have a possible boost leak, car makes a very loud whistle when on boost, car feels like it pulls ok but its just a real loud whistle compared to other turbo cars ive had.Ive had a brief check and cant see any loose hoses or splits, i am runnin what looks like a replica HKS dump valve, is it possible this could be Sh*t and causing it to leak? It has an adjustable screw on back of BOV, ive tightened this up to the max and it has made no difference, i thought this may make a chatter when it dumps also but it sounds the exsact same?any ideas? nazzurro19 Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 its not normal lol u shudnt have pressure leaking everybody with cheap bovs say they get a whistling , when i had my mani rewelded an a baily bov i had no whistle what so ever just a pshh noise as turbo spooled then TISH when it dumpednow the cracks bk and a dif bov i have whistling again Quote
