GT Phayer Posted February 22, 2011 Share Posted February 22, 2011 im just thinking what external wastegate to get im going to be running a hybrid TD05 getting as close as 400 bhp as possible and running 0.8 bar on low boost and 2 bar on hight boost if possible to do both. Just wondered what spring i will need to cope with both if that makes sence any help will be great not to good with the tuning Quote Link to post Share on other sites
nazzurro19 Posted February 22, 2011 Share Posted February 22, 2011 well the spring goes by minimum boost so if you have a 1bar spring then you cant boost lower then a bar etc but you can boost to as high as you like using a EBC for exampletial are a very good make but are £255 new unless you buy it from america and ask them to lower the charge on the form so you get less dutywhat size do you need aswell that affects price im going for a 38mmturbosmart are good too a few people on here use themive got a power up kit and im guna be hopefully using:ultragate 38mm turbosmart wastegategizzmo ms-ibc EBC at 1 bar and a 0.5 spring Quote Link to post Share on other sites
