engine clean up

bought a engine at the weekend and thort id giv it a clean and a paint before i dropped it into the car so made a start to day so thort id show yah sum pics of it so far

I've painted the block black and was goin to paint the head silver but i dunno what paint to use i think spraying it will look better so was wondering what people have used in the past

looks good mate, i did mine last week, used hammerite on the block and sump, but did the block silver and the sump black

on the head i used halfords high temp spray paint, and its not showing any signs of moving yet

i just used silver hammerite on my head, just painted it on with a brush. just dont go slapping loads on at a time or it will run. did it over a year ago and it still looks fresh, i just give it a wipe every now and again.
