nazzurro19 Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 hey guysjust brought a ct9 power up kit and i have gone for a screamer pipe seperately ratherthen plumbed into the zorst, i spoke to an mot test centre and they said it will pass aslong as it isnt stupidly loud at 2500rpm has anyone had one and it pass a legit mot etc?also ive been looking on youtube etc for vids on starlet screamers and they all old crappy quality, hasanyone got a decent vid ? or soundclip haha?i hope at 2500rpm it wont be like stupudly mahoosively loud Quote
DavidAshton Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 At 2500 rpm with no load on the engine its not going to be on boost so in theory the wastegate will be shut, so nothing will be coming out of the screamer pipe, so just normal exhaust noise. Quote

BAZ2CRAZY Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 I past an mot with a ct9 internal waste gated screamer. and mine sounds like a tractor at low revs and is quite loud. But every MOT tester is different, its there discretion.Mitch Quote
