The Toffinator
Anyone? dont think anyone looks in here lol
Russleh
had a quick look on opie oils and it saysREDLINES unique ShockProofâ?¢ Gear Oils are recommended for heavily loaded racing differentials and gearboxes which see shockloading.if your starlet fits in somewhere around that area then id say yet but otherwise id say regular redline 75w90 gear oil would do the trick. Russleh
also read on a bit further and seen "not recommended for most syncro-type transmissions"
The Toffinator
Im guessing there a syncro type transmisson then? lol. and mate i have looked into it and they use them alot in scoobys etc as it gets rid of slight grindings and make the shifting feel better, not because its use for race use
Russleh
im just goin by what it said on the website. i always used normal redline stuff with my box and never had a problem. guess they are synchro type as people always talk of the sychros going lol thats just assuing its the same thing tho
