string Posted March 13, 2011 Share Posted March 13, 2011 installed it today. didn't wire in the 2 fcd wires as i'm running emb. all seemed ok. switched off and turbo timer function didn't keep engine running but kept lights on the dash illuminated till it had counted down. swapped the ignition wires over and same again. any ideas?i have 4 wires to wire in.ground self explanitory12v constant which is wired to constant liveignition 1 which i spliced into the acc wire.ignition 2 which i spliced into the on wire.any ideas? string Posted March 13, 2011 Author Share Posted March 13, 2011 yeh thats what i'm saying.timer is set for 30 secs cool off. just to try it out. i switch off. engine switches off. dash lights stay on. like when you first put key in and turn but not switch on. the oil light etc etc. they stay on for the 30 secs. i watch the timer countdown. when it goes to 0 everything goes off. string Posted March 16, 2011 Author Share Posted March 16, 2011 lol well i split the ignition connector and tested which wire turned on n off when the key was in the on position. wired up to that. turned out to be a different wire. so theres 2 that come live but i never tested them all.
