clutch problems :(

basically put the clutch and gearbox back together on wednesday and there is a funny ticking/catching sound when the engine is on idle when u dip the clutch is goes away

but when u rev the engine on idle the noise gets louder

it goes into gear fine and the bite point is mint i just have no idea what is wrong now can post video is needed help please

if its a brand new release bearing it will be that "wearing in" it will be fine after a bit - aslong as you put it on correctly but if you have no probs in and out of gear it shud be fine

yeh its brand new just sounds worse when the rom goes higher wish someone cud come look at it lol

Aldo a release bearing shudnt have to wear in technically should it ? There shud be no noise as it's all brand new except the flywheel

have you fitted the release bearing retaining clip correctly ?

i have just fitted the release bearing and it sound like the release bearing need dooing agn but it just ding dun when the engine is on idle when u dip the clutch is goes away

yeh same problem with mine arron and yes dean as far as i know the retaining clip is on correct any chance of a picture so i can make sure ?
