Hey

i noticed a knocking noise coming from the front of my car so had a look at the driveshafts and noticed one of the cv joints had spit quiet badly (see pic)

its for a glanza V 96 spec. old owner said its got the factory LSD.

Do i have to change the whole driveshaft? or will it be okay to change just the joint? CV joint

Judging by the old grease thats been flung out it looks like its been broken a long time! It doesnt take long to knacker the bearings on the driveshaft once it runs dry.

You cant unfortunatly get replacement bearings for the driveshaft from what i have found, so it means a new driveshaft! Pack it with loads of greese first and put a new boot on it, you may be lucky and get away with it.

Cheers bud
