boosting problems!!

i was diving yesterday went to give it a boot full in second and it wouldnt boost at all, feels like its being restricted :/ iam running a td04 externally gated, set to hit full boost at .6 ive checked vac hoses intercooler piping cant see or hear any leaks

any ideas??

Have you checked the actuator? Could be that. i had same problem with standard actuator, the arm was loose and lost all boost.

^^ He's running an external gate matey, no actuator.

I'd say to check the external wastegate matey, take it off and inspect the housing, perhaps check the spring.

What sort of boost control you running, purely of the spring or you got ebc or manual?

its ok ive sorted it for him lol, because its external gate the original interal gate in the housing had been welded up, and a poor job of it had been done, so it was just blowing open..
