Right guys I am trying to eliminate any possible problems which is causing my high idle.

Am I right in saying the ICV is the unit on the left hand side of the inlet manifold?

Should something happen when its unplugged while the car is running?

I unplugged that and nothing seemed to happen apart from the ticking sound stopping.

Any help appreciated, thanks

Yea the ICV is on the drivers side of the mani. When i was replacing the ICV on my old Gt it diddnt make much difference when it was unplugged. was still fucked. lol

Would be good to know the answer to this as one of the things stopping me putting on my fte TB on th N/A is the different placment and size of the ICV.

just leave the valve pluged into the mani but take everything else off it the wiring pipes the lot (just to be used as a plug mate, thr is a idle screw on the top of the throttle body to set idle mate.
