Hey guys stripped the car today to find out where the leak was coming from.

Turns out the seal on the end of the inlet camshaft (next to the timing pulley) wasnt seated tidy, would this cause the leak? Everywhere else seems pretty dry.

Just need to know how far in the seal needs to sit and whether you would recommend using any sealer around it?

A pic of how it should sit would be ideal :)

Thanks Lewis

It needs to go flush with the head, any deeper and the oil won't be able to drain away, use a large socket to GENTLY tap it in, smear some grease around and inside the seal too.

Pinky.
