Failed MOT :(

Went to get my car MOT'd today and the following things were wrong.

1. drivers side side light was bright blue which needed changing - DONE

2. passenger side side light was out. - DONE

3. Outer CV boot has split - GETTING DONE TOMORROW.

4. handbreak was not up the the correct standard.

Basically the guy who did the MOT said i should undo the handbrake cable spray loads of WD40 onto the cables and keep pushing the handbreak up and down to try and free it.

I have no idea how to do this and if anyone has any idea could you let me know please as i need this doing asap

I wouldn't bother trying to free the cables up. your best off buying a pair of new ones and be done with it.
