nazzurro19 Posted June 13, 2011 Share Posted June 13, 2011 ive been bored today so decided to take apart my wastegate and was told it was fitted with a 1bar spring so i was rather shocked to find two does this mean that both the lil and middle spring are rated to 0.5 bar?cause if so i was trying to buy a half bar spring so surly i could just use one of them to get 0.5bar?and if the answer to that is yes what ones best to use the smaller or the bigger one?cheers Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Ryan Posted June 16, 2011 Share Posted June 16, 2011 I had this in my wastegate when i opened it. My car was trying to boost to 1.4 because it had a 0.9 and a 0.5 spring in it. Took the 0.5 spring out and put it back to together and all was good. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
