steady_eddy Posted July 3, 2011 Share Posted July 3, 2011 started my glanza up this morning and it took ages to get going and noticed straight away it was misfiring.so changed the distributor cap, ht leads, and spark plugs... but still no spark on cylinder one.... but when i rev it up above 3k it starts to make a tapping sound like metal on metal......? no smoke and just had the headgasket done about 2 weeks ago. engine mods: zisco mani, zisco decat, tail wastegate, fmic, relocated air filter and running 0.6bar of boost. any suggestions? steady_eddy Posted July 4, 2011 Author Share Posted July 4, 2011 Done a compression test today results:done a compression test today resultscylinder 1= 20 psicylinder 2= 20 psicylinder 3= 140 psicylinder 4= 140 psiengine was warmed up, throttle fully open and put some oil in 1 and 2 but still no change... my dads mate said valve springs broken or broke valve.any ideas?
