RPM limit

Can someone tell me the rpm the limiter cuts in on my sportif please? I don't want to be just guessing from the dash.

6200 from what I've heard but I've seen my brother taking his to 6500 in the cold. (On the old engine)

pointless taking it that high though in my opinion as you're out of the powerband

I'm hoping that will change once the rolla manifold is on and the motec is mapped. It's being wired in on monday but i need to know what the stock rpm limit is so i know how much i can safely raise it by.

Damn sportif's with no rev counter

Oh i have a rev counter.......i just don't trust its acuraccy 100%. When i'm raising the limit, i REALLY want to know what it is to start with, don't fancy getting it wrong and overdoing it for obvious reasons.

I agree completely, but the limit still needs to be in place, i don't fancy not having it.

Hence not being fussed about getting rev counter, go by sound and feel

But on the other hand am not doing the same kind of work Mark is doing so not as important for me to be so accurate

Ditto that, you can hear and feel when its time to change gear

But i normally just wait for the limiter

Looks like the actual limiter is at 6500rpm for those that want to know.
