ktl
I'v had the head skimmed twice, and the block once. My HG has failed after a blat around brands hatch open pit i got a athena 1.2mm to go on, what compression would this bring me too ? im worried I've skimmed the head to much now. The Toffinator
Am i right in thinking getting the heads skimmed on these barely changes the compression with the design of them? It shouldnt be too bad as long as you have that headgasket on.
Sparky
How much is a skim? About 3 thou?
daz gt turbz
surely a skim can vary tho depending on the amount of (if any) warp ther is?
mrkd5916
have a look on here http://www.race-cars.net/calculators/compr...calculator.html
sam2kk8
I dunno what details to put in there mate,, all the information i know is 74.5mm wiseco pistons, with a -10cc drop. 4 pistons. the rest is all ????any help be great. Sparky apparently its 1mm but yeh can depend how bad the warp is^ From ktl

ktl
I wasnt to sure if the stroke length and the volume is correct though just been given it from tgtt. But am i looking at having a higher compression then before or even a lower compression after i do this HG change.
