Whitegv
Hi lads.Just a quick question on driveshafts really. I had a knocking noise from my front passenger side a bit back which ended up.being my outer cv.joint. i had a normal gearbox at this point and there was no noise from thwarting drivers side at all.I put an lsd box in at the weekend went out last night to hear the knocking from before but from.drivers side. my question is really by having the car so low. by which i mean 16inch wheels with the tyres sat inside the arches. obviously the shafts aren't sat at the angle they are.designed to be which i assume puts.more stress on the cv joints. Im going to change the drivers side outer joint anyway.as its.obviously to late to save.it.now.Only reason i.ask this is because I've heard of Honda s2000's having extended shafts when there lowered a lot.Id like to add that the lsd is by far the best mod I've bought. brilliant bit of.kit.(its an internal diff not the oem one that requires new.shafts so I've used my existing ones.Thanks. Idrees
What LSD is it? As above it could be the LSD clunking.
Whitegv
Trd. the noise isn't coming from the box though. its 100% coming from drivers side wheel
