New Road Tax...wtf does it all mean?

Ok..so the new road tax...what the fuck?

it's based on emmissions now and not engine size etc? Is it based on the emmissions of the car as per manufacturers figures, or from most recent mot?

what the fuck will the tax be on an M3 E36 anyone know? and what about the track EP running silly fuel and mods??

If the GT is for track use only then it wont make any difference to it.

GT tax wont make much difference anyway it's been based on co2 for while but for new cars,older cars have gone on engine size.
