4EFE exhaust dimensions

Hi, is there anyone who could give me some advice on Back Box bore dimensions.

Currently i have a 5E 4-2-1 OBX manifold with end flange of 2"

that its then mated to a cat pipe and centre section with silencer that is also 2"

Then it goes to the Tailpipe (no silencer witch has a 2.5" bore).

This is very loud (has failed MOT on excessive exhaust noise).

Now my question is will there be a significant loss of power if i install a back box from a 4efte that has a 3" internal bore?

Or would i be better of getting a custom 2" bore back box made?

Im going to be fitting a stock glanza back box witch is 2" think 3" would be to much!!! but i could be rong i'll let other people say there point of view.

Yea i thought i would be oversized. but its quite a short pipe from the flange to silencer, so it may not matter to much.... we will wait and see.

No bother mate also if your keeping the cat then that will also help with back pressure so you might get away with useing 3"?

thats a good point about the cat, can anyone help on this?
