paul w Posted March 27, 2007 Share Posted March 27, 2007 If the springs are on the front shocks then it's a piece of piss to do them! Jack it up,wheels off,undo the 2 bolts at the bottom,then the 4 at the top,remove old unit,and repeat for other side tthen its the opposite to put the new ones in! Half hr a side tops! Just make sure the bolts are sprayed with penetrating fluid the night before easy! The springs for the rear i'd get done at a garage personally,if the garage will fit the springs for you it's the same as the fronts for fitting the rears.Dont forget to support the car with axle stands so you dont end up with the car ontop of you! Glanza_Ragger Posted March 27, 2007 Share Posted March 27, 2007 buy a set of spring compressors from halfrauds.. chavmymotorworld etc... clam up the springs, take the topmount off and swap springs.. both front and back are the 2 hub mounting bolts.. and 3 front topmount nuts, 2 rear top mount nuts.dont forget when its done get your tracking reset..
