power steering belt help

just put a new power steering belt on the motor as it was squeaking when it rained and damp in the air.

now every nite\wen it gets dark it screams, why would it do this, its on there tight?

could it be too tight?

any help much apreciated

Yeah either too loose or too tight it will, just slacken it reseat it on the pullys and tighten it up again, you should be able to make it flex very slightly when you push it but you dont want it rock hard either as that will be too tight.
