Raz
Ok i'm done coeecting up my TD04.Just want to confirm my work and need tips.First of all, this is the water line. Is it looped correctly? Is this the EFI fuse i have to remove here to prime the turbo? As you can see here; the dump valve is not connected to anything, but it is connected from the intake mani. Do i block it off from the intake mani for chatter? This is the king lead here? Do i have to disconnect that too?Ps sorry for the wrong section, but this section is more popular. N80Jamie
Water line is fine. Thats the right EFI fuse and yes remove the king lead as well. As for the chatter side of things; take the dumpvalve off, block the port from the hot pipe and then block the port from inlet

Raz
Thanks guys for the quicky replies. @ Jamie - There is no pipe coming out of the hot side of the intercooler. Its just from turbo bends down into the intercooler and back up the other way into the intake mani. There is no place to connect the dump valve otherwise i would have. Can someone just enlighten me on what is the purpose of removing the king lead? Some do it, some dont. nazzurro19
its just another way of primin if its a brand spanker of a turbo people put oil in through the return etcall does the job
N80Jamie
Ahh i see! Then you just have to block the pipe coming off the inlet I think it stops the engine from flooding with fuel This is what i have done when priming turbo's and i've had no problems
Raz
ok, today i blocked the pipe coming from the intake mani and did the priming and started it up. Went for a drive and the intercooler pipe come off I kind of knew it would happen, but just an inconvience.
