Bloomin' Land Rovers

Recommended Posts

What the flip is it with me and Land Rovers (particularly the older style ones) !?

Fair enough they're always trying to drive me into hedges and so on when I'm driving down country roads but can put up with that :D

Buuuut......today driving along behind a Land Rover (at 60mph - national speed limit) which was pulling a trailer, and suddenly, the flap fell down, flicking stones up at my car, then the plonker decided to brake hard :p

Wasn't too close so was all fine but gave me a shock.

What's more though is that last week had a near miss involving a Land Rover.

-Was driving home the back way (through the country roads) behind the 'rover which happened to have some door strapped to the roof. Then, the strap for no reason just came loose and the doors came flying off towards my car :p

Luckily this was followed by some quick thinking (brake and move to the other side of the road as there were no oncoming cars)

I was fine but nearly gave Jo a panic attack though :D :D

Right.....rant over......

Everyone else feel free to comment and share your own 4x4 related nightmares B)

Landy's rock, my uncle has two, does off road with one, off road recovery with the other, the 4x4 I see are the jacked BMW and porsche's wouldn't know a country if it hit them, and they have HID's right at eye-level cunts

Bad luck on that Mikey, good luck on not ramming into any though I suppose! :p

Also the indicators on some trailers dont fecking work or the feckers dont even bloody indicate.

When behind a trailer keep a good distance behind people, u dont know that the hell they gonna do.
