Basically I've been looking at buying a corolla levin/trueno bzr, now theres not many in england yet a quick look on donedeal I can find a fair few, and a bit cheaper than in england aswel

So thinking about a road trip to Ireland for a new car but want to get any info I can

I was wondering has anybody got any experience in bringing cars over? Or exporting them?

Whats the cost of re-registering it in england?

How much is the ferry for a car?

Will I have to retax it in england onces its reregistered?

Whats the deal with the NCT vs MOT will I just start getting it MOT'd when the NCT runs out?

How will I insure it befor registering in england, it being on an irish plate?

Im just thinking if I go over for a weekend look at a few cars and bring one back, what hidden costs there might be?
