loguey
Just wondered has anyone done this before? What does it actually do? I tried to update my galaxy s and I've killed it good and proper, but while im getting into rebooting it im having to download the software that would allow me to "root" my phone, would this have any benefit? Shahzad
You will have to get it into recovery mode and then try to reflash it with your original software(that came with the phone). Once it is up and running back up your phone before you start to root again.Try the steps on the link below.http://forum.xda-dev...45#post10342445
raffa_mk
just a heads up, if your phone was downloading it over the air using 3g or wifi you can let it resume download in recovery mode, also when rooting make sure you put back the firmware on the phone it in line with your network if its like a vodafone variasion etc and not a generic one as it voids the warranty if your phone goes back to a repair centre
loguey
I managed to sort it after about an hour of hunting down the firmware i needed, I've got it back up and running and now i have an app called superuser on there, but the phone is okay now apart from it wont turn to landscpe any more
