jon5698
Cheers for the advice, so if i could make a longer run to the otherside of the front bumper that should stop the boost creep? if i made a larger run would this affect the performance in any way? don't mean to sound stupid i just don't want to risk damaging the engine. Glanza_Ragger
It wont really damage the engine, You really want the shortest route possible.. Thats the best idea. You dont sound stupid for asking questions matey. Everybody has to learn sometime If you think about it, the stock airbox/filter position is quite a distance from the engine.. Taking the most stupid route they could think of lolthe efi pipe runs over the top of the manifold, even with the stock heatshield in place, it still heats the air intake up to an extent. In theory , if you have a slightly further route for the filter, it should lower the amount of boost creep you will get.Best bet though mate, is just to port the wastegate. Most simple and effective solution in my opinion..See what the other guys/girls think
