Zeldoz Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 Looking at a set of Glanza dials on eBay and I'm wondering what's the kind of work I need to do to make all the gauges work...? I.e.. Speedo,Rev counter, Fuel and temperature? Is it a case of plug & play? Or is it more complicated? Hopefully someone had already done it and can shed some light!Lewis. Quote
siren676 Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 I have done this conversion and i think a few others on the forum have as well..There is a lot of pin swapping that you have to do in the plugs to make it work, also depending on where you get the tacho signal from you may have to replace a resistor in the tacho unit to make it work.Heres a link on how to get the dials out and how to swap the pins.http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=8006And heres how to change the resistor if neededhttp://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=46993Its not too hard to do if you have patience and some electronic knowledge. Zeldoz Posted March 9, 2012 Author Posted March 9, 2012 Jesus that looks horrendous! I'll have to consult my electrician friend soldering is way out my league! Lewis Quote
5T4R7ET N/A Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 you could also go paseo dials, just wire swapping involved, no soldering. Quote
F3rAL Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 Yes paseo dials are easy to wire, just swap all the pins around and everything works perfect. There is a guide in how to's I used it and it took me about 30mins to wire everything, Look at my build thread, these look good and while you there change dial bulbs to leds, because yellow bulbs are not very good Quote
