Greddy Profec B Spec 2

Recommended Posts

Had one of these fitted to my car since I bought it but only just started learning how to work it (kind of lol). Ok so it boosts around 0.8-0.9 on low and 1.1-1.2 on high just now but never really have it on high as I feel it may be too much judging by my setup (listed below). I would like to set it up more accurately for 0.8 on low boost and 1.0 or 1.1 (depending which is the best) on high. The reason I say about is that my boost gauge is where I have been taking the readings and isn't the most accurate thing in the world so will be setting it up using the boost controller readings. Boost is perfect just now goes straight to said amounts and doesn't spike or creep at all and only starts to drop a bit once over 5.5k rpm. These are the settings on the boost controller:-

Low Boost

  • Gain - 20%
  • Set Gain - 0.50 x100kpa
  • Warning - 1.00 x100kpa
  • Warning - L. 5%

High Boost

  • Gain - 30%
  • Set Gain - 0.70 x100kpa
  • Warning - 1.30 x100kpa
  • Warning - L. 5%

Current Car Setup

  • FSE RRFPR
  • HKS FCD
  • Greddy Profec B Spec 2 EBC (as mentioned)
  • Soon to be WEPR mani (currently unknown aftermarket)
  • Unknown downpipe
  • 2.25 inch straight through exhaust system with cobra sport backbox
  • Forge Actuator
  • HKS mushroom airfilter (soon to be relocated to front bumper)
  • Baileys DV26 dump valve
  • Rocker cover breather filter (not that it makes a difference)
  • Standard CT9a in good condition
  • Standard injectors and fuel pump

Not sure what the controller settings do or should be at but I know how to adjust them and could change them progressively if I get a rough idea of which ones to change and in which way. Thanks in advance for any help.
