How can i tell if its a plug and play ecu

i have a ecu which i believe to be a after market one, but doesn't have any markings onit to suggest its after market .

any way i can tell if it is?

see if it revs out by 7, and your speed limiter should be gone,

well my chassis hasn't got a engine in it atm, another reason im struggling to tell. il try get a pic up soon, it has some writing on the back in pen but cant make anything out from it.
