Smoking engine!

Hi guys!

Need some help! i put a new head on my glanza this weekend because my old head cracked, ive had the new head skimed, put a new head gasket on and arp head bolts but when i started the car it started pooring out smoke! my mate said it will for about 15 minites but it wont stop! its mainly when you rev the car but is okay when driving along? i tryed my mates spare turbo but that made no diffrence!

ANY ideas? are there any checks i can do with out taking the head completly off again?

any help would be appritiated!

valve stem seals ?

if it wasnt smoking before then it was with the replacement head its obviously going to be something wrong with that head, like mentioned maybe the valve stem seals are shot on it.

Sounds like valve seals - do a test mate! only way to determine what the problem is

Thanks i will do a test, also when i took the exhaust manifold off to try another turbo one of the exhaust ports was very oily any ideas?
