water temp sensor adaptor size??

Hi guys,

have a temp sensor adaptor that came with my defi's but is too big for the rad pipes. i measured them and diameter of the pipes is 30mm, the adaptor i have is 35mm

Do i need a 30mm adaptor or 28mm to fit inside the silicone pipes?

looking on the bay at ones to get and was thinking this one;

26-28mm should be fine
